A long exposure shot taken in mid December 2014 during a Mallow Camera Club night shoot around town.  The weird colour of the sky is as a result of the street lighting on the fog.  The castle itself was 'painted by light' from hand torches (by others).  

Taken on my recent trip to the Algarve Portugal.
I was taking sunset photos on Porto Mós beach near Lagos when I noticed that the cliffs and clouds behind me we being lit by the lovely warm light of the setting sun.

One of the ways of getting to the top of Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain, is via the Devil’s Ladder.  This is for most people the toughest part of the climb as the rocks can be slippery in wet or frosty weather.  This shot was taken in August 2014 on my way up Carrauntoohil for the first time in over twenty years.
